📌PACE was highlighted at a major international forum on prison reform and rehabilitation held during the 35th Session of the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (CCPCJ) in Vienna. “From Punitive Penal Systems to Rehabilitation: Insights from Europe and Central Asia”. Mr. Vladislav Busmachiu, Head of Communication, Protocol and International Cooperation Directorate of the National Prison Administration of the Republic of Moldova, highlighted the PACE project as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen health and prevention in prison settings. The event brought together representatives from Europe and Central Asia to discuss prison reform, rehabilitation-oriented approaches and alignment with international standards. ▶ PACE contributes to these efforts by supporting equitable access to vaccination for people living in prison, helping to reduce the burden of preventable cancers and viral hepatitis across Europe.
